SECTION B: Transition Milestones
- Board discussion of and response to e-mail received late today from Michael Frodyma of BooNet, finally making it clear that without a negotiated service rate increase Delmarva will not provide levels of support originally agreed to by BooNet.
Core group of GIAC Principals (i.e., those who do the work) agrees that common sense dictates unbundling and relocating GREENBELT.COM services from BooNet/Delmarva to other providers ASAP -- dial-up services to a wholesale provider (to be coordinated by Doug) and e-mail and web hosting services to CENTERway (to be coordinated by Neil and Peggy).
Domain-related services provided (at no charge) by CENTERway will be regarded as temporary by all concerned, pending full evaluation and approval by the Board as time permits.
APRIL 11
- Doug and Neil meet to establish dial-up service requirements.
APRIL ??
- Neil copies all websites to CENTERway server.
APRIL 26-28 / UPDATED MAY 2 / UPDATED MAY 8
- Due to carping by Alexander, Board votes by e-mail to "formalize" changeover approval.
APRIL 27
- Doug, Peggy, Ed and Neil evaluate terms and technical requirements of IKANO service proposal received from Vance.
APRIL ??-??
